Monthly Brand QA Checklist
Brands drift because nobody checks. This monthly QA routine takes ~40 minutes and prevents the “why does our brand feel inconsistent?” problem from growing.
Total time: ~40 minutes
Monthly QA Routine
10 minutes: Website spot-check
- Homepage hero: logo version, CTA button style, typography
- Navigation + footer: spacing, link styles, contact details
- Any new pages/sections: do they match the system?
10 minutes: Social spot-check
- Profile image uses the correct mark
- Pinned posts / highlights match current branding
- Recent posts match templates and typography
10 minutes: Email + templates
- Newsletter header/logo and CTA buttons match site
- Team signatures follow one format
- Any new templates follow font/color rules
10 minutes: Ads + landing pages
- Ads match messaging pillars (no random promises)
- Landing page matches ad visuals + offer language
- Proof and guarantees are consistent
Priority Fixes
What to fix first (so you don't get overwhelmed)
- Fix customer-facing pages first (homepage, booking/checkout, primary landing pages).
- Fix anything that breaks trust (pricing mismatch, outdated logos, inconsistent business name).
- Fix templates last (they’re easier once the “system” is stable).
Preventing Brand Drift
Multiple people designing without rules
Fix: Use a single guidelines doc + RACI approvals.
No templates
Fix: Create a small set of reusable templates (social, deck, email).
Assets stored in random places
Fix: One shared folder + naming conventions.
